Volvo Car USA celebrates best October performance in 15 years

Volvo Car USA LLC, (VCUSA) reported U.S. sales of 8,807 vehicles for the month of October, an increase of 20.2 percent from the same period last year. Year-to-date VCUSA has sold 86,239 vehicles, an increase of 6.1 percent from the previous year.

“Our lineup continues to impress American buyers. Volvo Cars has posted a sales gain in twenty of the last twenty-one months.” said Anders Gustafsson, President and CEO, Volvo Car USA & Senior Vice President Americas.

The XC90 was the most popular car in October selling 2,720 cars, up 18.2 percent versus October 2018. The XC60 followed with 2,285 cars and the S60 with 2,193 vehicles sold.
