UAW and Ford executives shake hands today at Ford World Headquarters to begin negotiations for the 2019 contract.
During the course of the 2015 contract, Ford exceeded its contract commitments, investing more than $9 billion in its U.S. plants and creating or retaining more than 8,500 U.S. hourly jobs. Ford has more U.S. hourly UAW-represented workers than any other automaker and builds more vehicles in the U.S. than any other automaker.
