The 2024 Rogue from Nissan is now available, with the base front-wheel-drive S model beginning at $29,685. This year sees a modest price increase: the S and SV models are up by $410, while the SL and Platinum models see a rise of $1110. Opting for all-wheel drive will add an additional $1500 across all variants. A fully-equipped Platinum AWD model can reach upwards of $43,000.

As Nissan’s top-selling model, the Rogue is key to the brand. Despite the current generation only launching in the 2021 model year, it has already seen significant updates, including a new engine in 2022. Now, the 2024 refresh brings a redesigned exterior, including a new grille and updated taillights, and introduces new technology features.

The Rogue’s design updates extend to new 18-inch wheel designs for the SV model and a fresh 19-inch option for the Platinum trim, which also gets gloss-black fender trim and an upgraded body kit. Nissan also introduces three new color options: Everest White Pearl, Deep Ocean Blue Pearl, and Baja Storm.

Interior enhancements include updated materials and finishes for the dashboard, door panels, seats, and center console. The Platinum trim now offers a brown leather upholstery option. The S and SV continue to feature an 8.0-inch touchscreen, while the SL and Platinum trims upgrade to a 12.3-inch screen with integrated Google apps like Google Maps, Google Play, and Google Assistant. The SL trim also adds wireless charging and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Apple CarPlay remains wired on the smaller screen but is wireless on the larger one in SL and Platinum models.

The powertrain remains unchanged for 2024, retaining the turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-three engine with 201 horsepower, standard front-wheel drive, and a continuously variable automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is an optional extra. Despite improved acceleration compared to the older 2.5-liter inline-four, the real-world fuel economy has room for improvement.

With prices slightly increased, the Rogue still offers competitive value, starting just under $30,000. The SV is priced at $31,375, the SL at $36,535, and the fully-loaded Platinum at $39,965 (all FWD prices). AWD remains a $1500 add-on. The updated Rogue is set to hit U.S. dealerships in early 2024.
