Drivers of the new ŠKODA compact models ŠKODA SCALA and KAMIQ will be particularly comfortable throughout the winter with up to four heated seats, a heated windscreen and heated washer fluid nozzles. The keyless entry system KESSY enables quick entry into the vehicle.

Double-sided boot mats are ideal for transporting wet or dirty winter equipment. The ŠKODA models KAROQ, KODIAQ, OCTAVIA and SUPERB offer even greater comfort: the optional auxiliary heating can be conveniently controlled either by remote control or smartphone.

ŠKODA is known for its clever ideas for everyday driving – this also applies to the problems and challenges of the cold season, such as frozen windows, cold hands and sleet-covered boots. For example, when it comes to seat heating, ŠKODA also thinks of passengers in the back: in the ŠKODA models SCALA and KAMIQ, the car manufacturer offers heating for the two outer seats in the rear in addition to heated front seats.

A chilly winter season will not be an issue for drivers of the KAROQ, KODIAQ, OCTAVIA and SUPERB thanks to auxiliary heating, which can be programmed or activated in advance from the breakfast table via remote control, and by using the ŠKODA Connect app for the KAROQ and the new OCTAVIA. This means that the vehicle will be the desired temperature inside and the windows will be ice-free when you get in.

Warm hands and excellent visibility

The optional heated steering wheel for the KAMIQ and SCALA prevents freezing hands even in sub-zero temperatures and allows driving without thick or damp gloves. It is more pleasant and, above all, safer. The optional heated front windscreen, which quickly melts any ice, ensures a quick start to your early-morning journey. The windscreen washer nozzles are also heated on both models, ensuring a clear view at all times.

For optimum visibility in bad weather and long nights, the ŠKODA SCALA and ŠKODA KAMIQ are also available with full LED headlights rather than standard LED headlights. These offer adaptive functions and various light modes; a high beam assistant is also available on request. A rain- and running-light sensor as well as the coming/leaving home function come as standard in all SCALA and KAMIQ models.

Keyless entry and tyre tread depth scale on the ice scraper

In addition to classics such as the umbrella in the driver’s door, the SCALA and KAMIQ offer numerous new ‘Simply Clever’ ideas. One of these features is the ice scraper in the fuel flap, which now has a measuring scale to check the tread depth of the tyres. The keyless entry system KESSY enables quick access to the dry vehicle interior without rummaging around in coat pockets or bags. An integrated funnel in the cap of the windscreen washer reservoir makes it easier to fill with washer fluid and antifreeze – spillage is a thing of the past. A heavy winter jacket can be hung on the standard clothes hook on the B-pillar. From the Ambition version up, the KAMIQ also has a portable LED torch integrated into the boot.

The luggage compartments of the ŠKODA KAMIQ and SCALA are easy to clean in the thanks to the double-sided boot mat. The underside is made of rubber and is ideal for dirty boots, sledges or wet umbrellas. There is also a plastic boot liner in the accessories list for the KAMIQ.
