The eighth generation of the Volkswagen Golf appears without camouflage in these latest spy shots, in its rechargeable hybrid version PHEV. A few days ago, the GOLF 8 began the last phase of the road tests, before the official unveil expected next October.

Volkswagen had released a teaser of the future generation of the GOLF, beginning its final phase of testing, under a camouflage made of black and white stripes. On these new photos, the compact German sedan also welcomes the new Volkswagen logo, unveiled recently at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Volkswagen design director Klaus Bischoff said, “The next generation is sure to catch the eye, that’s for sure! “. The new look is clearly visible, an attractive front end with a refined grille and optics that extend to the wings, and a completely new rear face, with shields that have been carefully crafted.

As for the interior, the GOLF 8 will probably abandon the vertical center console, to make room for a more horizontal presentation, in the same logic of the latest achievements of the brand, a central touch screen that will be a part of the digital instrumentation. The central vents will hang underneath and extend on the passenger side.

The countdown to the beginnings of the eighth generation has already begun: the new Golf will indeed celebrate its world premiere in autumn 2019.
