Kia Motors Europe launches original oils to improve efficiency and performance

Kia Motors Europe has today introduced its new range of Kia Original Oil engine lubricants. Now on-sale at participating franchised dealers and workshops across European dealer network, Kia Original Oils have been engineered specifically to maximise the longevity, efficiency and performance of Kia’s gasoline and diesel internal combustion engines.

The new lubricants will give Kia owners greater peace of mind knowing that their engines are only lubricated with the optimum motor oil formula. Kia Original Oil will be offered to customers visiting authorised Kia workshops to have their car’s engine oil changed or topped-up during service. Car owners can also buy convenient top-up bottles to ensure they always have the appropriate oil formula to hand between recommended service intervals.

Fred Sihler, Vice President of Aftersales Kia Motors Europe, comments: “The Kia Original Oil line has been developed using the same expertise that goes into creating each of the engines in our cars. Designed to protect Kia’s range of internal combustion engines and ensure their longevity, Kia Original Oil also means our high-tech engines remain as efficient as possible. The oils will give our customers greater peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that their local dealer can supply them with the ideal engine oil for their car.”

With increasing numbers of Kia vehicles sold with downsized turbocharged powertrains, many of the brand’s more modern engine ranges, including the company’s highly-efficient Smartstream engines, rely on high-quality, low-viscosity oils to reduce fuel consumption and maximise efficiency and performance.

Kia Original Oils have been developed to protect and maintain Kia internal combustion engines. Available in a range of formulas, including 0W30 C2, 5W30 C3 & A3/B4, 5W40 and 10W40, the new lubricants are suitable for a wide choice of Kia engines, from economical 1.0-litre T-GDi (turbocharged gasoline direct injection) engines in many of the brand’s more compact vehicles to the high-performance 3.3-litre T-GDi engine found in the Stinger. The engine oils also cover Kia’s range of diesel and gasoline hybrid powertrains.

Kia Original Oils are available from now at Kia franchised dealers.
