Ferrari 488 Pista Spider and Ferrari F8 Tributo star in the renowned sport auto Award 2019

The Ferrari 488 Pista Spider and the Ferrari F8 Tributo have received two important awards from the leading German automotive magazine sport auto in their annual readers’ poll.

During last night’s award ceremony in Stuttgart, the organizers unveiled this year’s 28 champions, one for each category of the sport auto Award 2019. The 488 Pista Spider and the F8 Tributo triumphed in the “Imported Production convertibles over €150,000” and in the “Imported Production coupés over €150,000” categories respectively.

The Ferrari 488 Pista Spider sets a new benchmark for Ferrari open-air performance, with an unprecedented weight-power ratio of 1.92 kg/cv. The car offers the highest level yet of technological transfer from the track to a road-legal drop-top car and delivers a seamless combination of razor-sharp acceleration, braking efficiency, lightning-fast gear shifting, precision steering, grip, stability and superb handling for a completely captivating and unmatched driving experience.

The Ferrari F8 Tributo is the new mid-rear-engined sports car that represents the highest expression of the Prancing Horse’s classic two-seater berlinetta. The name (“tribute” in English) is an homage to the model’s uncompromising layout and to the V8 engine that powers it, which delivers a massive 720 cv and a record specific power output of 185 cv/l. Indeed, this powertrain has won the International Engine of the Year award four years running and was also voted the best engine of the last two decades.
