Electric scooters are becoming more and more interesting when it comes to digital and climate-neutral mobility. What’s more, people can use them to avoid rising petrol prices. Reflecting these developments, vehicle manufacturer ElectricBrands is expanding its portfolio as previously announced and has been granted exclusive distribution rights by NITO. This Italian manufacturer focuses entirely on two-wheeled e-mobility – in award-winning design.
ElectricBrands AG is adding to its range of electric vehicles – alongside the modular XBUS, slotted for launch next year. From April, the company will distribute the Italian brand NITO and sell three elegant, state-of-the-art electric scooters through its own distribution network in Europe. Two months after that, the range will also be available via their web shop.
Exclusive Distribution Rights
ElectricBrands has won exclusive sales and servicing rights for the electric two-wheelers from Italian company NITO for the EMEA region. This includes the European, Arabian and African markets. Thus, the start-up is expanding its product range, as already announced in February. “We at ElectricBrands are very proud to be the distributor of these truly brilliant and innovative scooters and look forward to working with our friends at NITO in Italy,” says ElectricBrands founder Ralf Haller about the partnership, noting that “once you’ve ridden one, you’ll realise how climate-friendly mobility can also team up with fun and chic design.”
Stylish Electric Two-Wheelers
E-mobility firm NITO will offer a total of three two-wheelers: The N1e e-scooter as a stand-up scooter is intended for daily city traffic. With a speed of 20 km/h due to the 250-watt motor and a range of 20 kilometres, the manufacturer promises performance designed for urban areas.
Add to this the two traditional e-scooters NES5 and NES10 in classic Italian design. With its 4 kW motor, the NES5 achieves 45 km/h and a range of 90 kilometres. Its big brother NES10, also powered by 4 kW, boasts breath-taking acceleration of up to 90 km/h and a range of up to 80 kilometres. Another bonus: a driving licence and a few driving lessons is all that is needed to ride the NES10, which is equivalent to a 125cc class. According to NITO, the cost to run either of these two electric scooters is just €1.60 per full charge. Thus, in addition to being environmentally friendly and sustainable, at less than €2.00 per 100 kilometres they are also extremely cheap to run, offering a serious alternative to cars in urban traffic. In addition to a timeless look, it will be possible to expand the standard issue of both models thanks to additional accessories.
Sales and Service via Dealer Network
The three electric vehicles will be available exclusively through the network of around 800 ElectricBrands dealers. The N1e is already available from € 1.170, the e-scooter NES5 at € 5.800 and the NES10 from € 6.160 excluded VAT. From May, they will be available for pre-order from selected sales partners throughout Europe. Service and spare parts will then also be available locally. From June, the different models can also be configured and ordered via the web shop “mynito.com”.
