Acura Named ‘Best Value in America’ Luxury SUV & Crossover Brand by Vincentric

Acura has been named a “Best Value in America” brand in the Luxury SUV & Crossover category for 2020 by automotive analysis firm Vincentric. Vincentric’s annual “Best Value in America” awards also honor the 2020 Acura RDX as top choice in the Luxury Compact SUV/Crossover category.

The Acura RDX, the first in a new generation of Acura core models is retail number one in luxury’s largest segment, the number two luxury SUV in America, and the number three luxury model overall since going on-sale in June 2018. The Acura MDX, America’s all-time best-selling 3-row luxury SUV1, just celebrated an eighth consecutive year of sales surpassing 50 thousand units. Acura SUVs have led luxury in retail sales to under-35-year-old buyers since 2012 – RDX is number one in segment and the number three luxury SUV overall in sales to 35-year-old-buyers and MDX is the number one three-row luxury SUV.2

Winners of the Vincentric awards are determined by a cost of ownership analysis that factors depreciation, fuel and maintenance costs plus other factors.

Acura is a leading automotive luxury nameplate that delivers Precision Crafted Performance – a commitment to evocative styling, high performance and innovative engineering, all built on a foundation of quality and reliability. The Acura lineup features six distinctive models – the RLX premium luxury sedan, the TLX performance luxury sedan, the ILX sport sedan, the five-passenger RDX luxury crossover SUV, the seven-passenger Acura MDX, America’s all-time best-selling three-row luxury SUV, and the next-generation, electrified NSX supercar.

Five of the six Acura models sold in North America are made in central Ohio, using domestic and globally-sourced parts, including the ILX and TLX luxury sports sedans (Marysville Auto Plant), the RDX and MDX luxury SUVs (East Liberty Auto Plant) and the Acura NSX supercar, which is built to order at the Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio.
