Acura has been named a “Best Value in America” brand in the Luxury SUV & Crossover category for 2020 by automotive analysis firm Vincentric. Vincentric’s annual “Best Value in America” awards also honor the 2020 Acura RDX as top choice in the Luxury Compact SUV/Crossover category.
The Acura RDX, the first in a new generation of Acura core models is retail number one in luxury’s largest segment, the number two luxury SUV in America, and the number three luxury model overall since going on-sale in June 2018. The Acura MDX, America’s all-time best-selling 3-row luxury SUV1, just celebrated an eighth consecutive year of sales surpassing 50 thousand units. Acura SUVs have led luxury in retail sales to under-35-year-old buyers since 2012 – RDX is number one in segment and the number three luxury SUV overall in sales to 35-year-old-buyers and MDX is the number one three-row luxury SUV.2
Winners of the Vincentric awards are determined by a cost of ownership analysis that factors depreciation, fuel and maintenance costs plus other factors.
